- Thelma was confiscated in a cruelty case in Poughkeepsie, NY when she was just a young pup. When she was around 8 months old, Animal Farm Foundation came to her rescue! AFF noticed that Thelma was an incredible athlete and could have sports potential. In April she went to live in Rhinebeck, NY with Kara & Nadja as a temporary foster where they worked on her disc skills. In June, it became official- Kara & Nadja adopted Thelma! Thelma is currently training in canine disc and is enrolled in therapy dog training with The Good Dog Foundation.

I saw Thelma perform while I was volunteering at Best Friends last week in Utah. Thelma's handlers were sporting really cool green t-shirts. Are those shirts available for purchase?
